These Vivo and iQoo smartphones are getting Android 13 update in India

Google recently released Android 13 update for Pixel devices. Now smartphone makers have started rolling out Android 13 update for their flagship devices. Now it appears that both Vivo and iQoo have started rolling out Android 13 updates for their high-end smartphones in India.
Some of the Vivo X80 Pro and iQoo 9 Pro users are getting Android updates in India. The update is available for limited users who signed up for the Android 13 Preview program started by the companies recently. The Chinese smartphone makers revealed that they are accepting the request of only 500 users. So, there’s a possibility that only 1000 users are presently eligible for the Android 13 update. Vivo and iQoo have not yet revealed the timeline for the rollout of the stable version of Android 13.

Vivo has advised the X80 Pro users to first upgrade their smartphone to the latest system version 12.0.12.7 or above. On the other hand, the iQoo 9 Pro users have to install the system version 12.0.5.8 or above. The smartphone makers have mentioned that the Android 13 preview may slow down the performance of the smartphone for some users.
Android 13 key features
These are some of the key features of Android 13
Safer to copy and paste: With Android 13, Google is improving the clipboard feature. For instance, if you copy sensitive data like your email address, phone number or login credentials on your device, Android will automatically clear your clipboard history after a period of time.
Better connectivity with Android tablets: Users will be able to copy content — like a link, picture, text or video — from their Android phone and paste it on their tablet. It works the other way round as well as you can start on your tablet and paste to your phone.
Choose the pictures you want to share: On earlier versions of Android, users had no choice but to give access to the entire library of images to third-party apps. Not anymore as with Android 13, you can select only the specific photos and videos they’ll need to access.
Different languages for different apps: This is a rather interesting feature to have. Earlier, users could assign just one language for every function and app on their phones. Now, they can assign specific languages to individual apps so they can keep the phone’s system in one language, and each of the apps in a different language.
