These Xiaomi 12 Ultra concept renders show us what the flagship could look like

The images come courtesy of tipster @RODENT950 and were later rendered by LetsGoDigital. While earlier rumours have claimed the phone will have a secondary screen on the back panel, the new render suggests otherwise as we don’t see any screen. The massive circular rear camera module is similar to the one seen on the famous Nokia 1020 PureView phone. The protrusion is quite big in comparison to most camera modules these days. The circular module is placed on a large rectangular block. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra appears to have quad-camera sensors, including a periscope zoom lens, LED flash and a plethora of other sensors such as 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF), laser autofocus and PDAF.

The volume rocker and power button are on the right spine. The USB Type-C and speaker grills are present at the bottom. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra has Harman Kardon speakers on the top and an IR blaster. It can be seen in Black and White colour options. Moving to the front, the images show narrow bezels, a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie snapper and slightly curved edges. Rumours suggest it will have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, possibly with up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB storage.

Other specifications may include a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary camera, a 48MP telephoto lens with 2x, 5x, and 10x and 120x zoom capabilities. For videos, the phones will have a 15x zoom as well. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra may have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
