Assassin’s Creed III Liberation is going to be removed from the Steam platform. The spinoff title has already been delisted from Steam and will no longer be available to play after September 1, 2022. Liberation originally launched on PS Vita and later got an HD version on PC. Ubisoft recently released a list of 15 games for which the multiplayer and online services will soon be discontinued from September 1, 2022. These include five Assassin’s Creed titles which are Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed 3 (2012 Release), Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD and Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
For Assassin’s Creed II, multiplayer will be shut down for PC and PlayStation 3, and you can’t link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.
For Assassin’s Creed 3 (2012 Release), PC multiplayer will be suspended forever and you won’t be able to link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Also, you won’t be able to have access to or install the DLC. On PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360, multiplayer will be suspended forever and you won’t be able to link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. However, the remastered version of the game will not be shut down for now.
Speaking of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, PC players will not be able to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Installation and access to DLC will not be possible. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players won’t be able to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.
When it comes to Assassin’s Creed Revelations, multiplayer and online services of the game will shut down for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
