NEW DELHI: Samsung has slashed the price of its big battery smartphone. Launched in February this year, Samsung Galaxy F62 has received its first price drop. The smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 4,000 making it more affordable. After Samsung Galaxy M51, it is the only 7,000 mAh battery smartphone to be available under Rs 20,000.
Samsung Galaxy F62: New price
Samsung launched the Galaxy F62 in February this year, the smartphone comes in two variants — 6GB and 8GB. For now, Samsung has slashed the price of the 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone.
The 6GB RAM variant of the Samsung Galaxy F62 is now available at Rs 19,999 after the price drop of Rs 4,000. The new pricing is reflecting on the company website. After the price cut the smartphone will compete against the Mi 10i (Rs 20,999) and the Realme 7 Pro (Rs 19,999)
Samsung Galaxy F62 specifications
Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by the company’s own Exynos 9 series 9825 processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy F62 features a full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI 3.1. The handset comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and houses a 7,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
The device sports a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12MP 123° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front houses a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture.
