This is how much the first iPhone of 2022 may cost

NEW DELHI: Apple launched the second-generation iPhone SE two years ago in 2020. The company is now expected to launch its successor at its upcoming event which is rumoured to take place on March 8. Along with the new affordable iPhone the company is also said to unveil a refreshed iPad Air at the event. Now a new leak has surfaced online revealing the likely price of the iPhone SE 2022.
iPhone SE 2022 expected price
According to analyst John Donovan, the yet-to-launch iPhone SE is said to come with a starting price tag of $300 (Rs 22,687). If this is true then the 2022 edition of the iPhone SE will be cheaper than the iPhone SE (2020). However, don’t expect the pricing of iPhone SE to be so low in India. In all likelihood, the price of the iPhone SE may hover around Rs 40,000. On the other hand another analyst, Daniel Ives also believes that the upcoming iPhone SE will stick to the base price of $399 (Rs 22,687).
iPhone SE 2022 expected specifications
The new iPhone SE is said to come with a similar design as the second-generation device. The smartphone is also expected to retain the 4.7-inch retina HD display. The smartphone is also tipped to come with the TouchID home button. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by Apple’s own A15 Bionic chipset and run iOS 15 operating system out-of-the-box. Rumours also suggest that iPhone SE 2022 is also said to come with 5G connectivity.
iPad Air (5th generation)
Along with the new iPhone SE, the Cupertino-based tech giant is also said to launch a new iPad Air at the upcoming launch event. Very few details are known about the new iPad Air. The new and upcoming iPad Air is expected to be powered by Apple’s A15 Bionic chipset. The tablet is also said to come with 5G connectivity.
