OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be launched in India next week. OnePlus took to Twitter to confirm the launch date of OnePlus Nord CE 2. The company tweeted a small teaser video of the upcoming smartphone, which also revealed its launch date. As per the teaser shared by OnePlus India, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will launch on February 17. The company has noy yet officially shared any information about the upcoming device. However, tipster Ishan Agarwal claims to have spotted the 5G smartphone on the official website.
The tipster has also revealed the colour options of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 spotted on the website is called ‘Bahamas Blue’. The image confirms that the device will sport a triple camera setup at the rear and a single punch-hole camera at the front.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE rumoured specifications
OnePlus Nord 2 CE is rumoured to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The display is tipped to have a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage capacity.
When it comes to camera, the smartphone is rumoured to sport a triple camera setup at the rear, consisting of 64MP primary OmniVision lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the device is rumoured to have a 16MP camera at the front. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 out of the box. The reports also reveal that the smartphone will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
The device is rumoured to be a watered-down version of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE. To recall, Nord 2 was launched in July last year and it features a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. In terms of camera, it gets a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup at the back and a 32MP selfie shooter at the front.
