This is next smartphone OnePlus is set to launch
NEW DELHI: OnePlus recently launched a new Nord series smartphone in India. Now it appears that the company is all set to launch a new Nord smartphone in the US. The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the Nord N20 smartphone in the US soon.
OnePlus Nord N20 leaked online for the first time in November 2021. Successor to the Nord N10, the smartphone is said to sport an AMOLED display and iPhone-like design.
According to an online report for PCMag, the smartphone is said to launch in North America later this month. The publication has also shared an image of the upcoming smartphone. The image reveals the squarish iPhone-like design of the smartphone.
OnePlus Nord N20 specifications
In an interview with PCMag, OnePlus COO Kinder Liu revealed some of the details about the upcoming smartphone. OnePlus Nord N20 will sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will feature an AMOLED display. Liu told PCMag, “Our 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display offers low power consumption as well as better contrast, more vivid colors, and a wider color gamut than what is currently on sale in the North America affordable device market”.
The mid-range OnePlus smartphone will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and SuperVOOC fast charging support.
OnePlus Nord N20 likely specifications
Apart from the above mentioned specifications, Liu did not reveal any other detail about the OnePlus Nord N20. However, various online rumours suggest that the upcoming Nord series smartphone is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and sport a triple rear camera. The smartphone is rumoured to offer a 48MP main camera and a pair of 2MP cameras. On the front, the smartphone is said to offer a 16MP selfie shooter.
OnePlus Nord N20 will be available in North America later this month. The company has not yet shared the exact date. Also, there is no information as to when the smartphone will be available in other markets.
