This is when Apple iPhone 13 may launch – Times of India

While Apple is gearing up to launch the new iPhone 13 series phones soon we still don’t know the official date of iPhone 13 launch. However, there’s some rumours doing the rounds that Apple may launch the iPhone 13 series — iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max– on September 17. Interestingly, the tipster also claimed on Weibo, a social media platform in China, that Apple will launch the AirPods 3 (or the next-gen AirPods) on September 30.
Apple usually launches new iPhones on the second Tuesday of the month of September. However, last year, the iPhone 12 series was launched on October 13. Also, sometimes Apple has also launched iPhones on Wednesday. So, predicting the exact launch date of iPhone 13 is a bit difficult unless there’s a confirmed source of the information. As for the sale of iPhone 13 series, it is expected to arrive ahead of the festive season in India in October.
Meanwhile, Apple is said to be disregarding Triskaidekaphobia or the fear of number 13 and is confirmed to be naming the upcoming iPhone as iPhone 13. Many experts suggested that Apple might name the device lineup as iPhone 12S. But as per the supply chain, the name of the 2021 iPhone is going to be iPhone 13 only.
While there have been several rumours about one of the most awaited phones of this year, one has been constantly repeated: the 120Hz display. The iPhone 13 is rumoured to come with a 120Hz ProMotion display which could be an Always-On Display. As per the rumours, the Always-On Display will only show time, battery percentage, and incoming notifications. The device is said to preserve the design philosophy of the recent iPhones and not come with a lot of heavy design changes. Also, the iPhone 13 could come with a smaller, taller notch, with the earpiece getting shifted into the bezel area.
