Ratan Tata takes delivery of a custom-built 72V Tata Nano EV

Electra EV, the creator of this special custom-built 72V Tata Nano EV, is well known for its Tata Nano EV fleet deployed for the SainikPod Sit & Go all-electric mobility service in Bangalore. The Tata Nano EV retrofitted by Electra EV gets a 48V electric system. This comes in as a handy solution for intra-city transit especially in a crowded city such as Bangalore with a huge working population making movements daily. This 48V Tata Nano EV called NEO EV comes in as a superb solution and caters perfectly to SainikPod Sit & Go initiative managed by MotherPod Innovations Private Limited, a shared mobility solutions provider managed by ex-servicemen. 

Ratan Tata’s Tata Nano EV however is a novelty item as it uses a 72V electric drivetrain solution, possibly sourced from the higher-spec system that does duty on Electra EV’s Tigor EV platform. If we anticipate specifications of the 72V Tata Nano EV, it can be expected to be similar to the Tigor EV by Electra EV.
