NEW DELHI: Watchmaker Timex has added another smartwatch to its product lineup with the launch of — Timex Helix Smartwatch 2.0. The smartwatch is priced at Rs 3,999 and it will be available online on Amazon India website.
The Helix Smartwatch 2.0 comes with a temperature sensor, heart rate monitor, activity tracker and telemedicine feature amongst its many other features. The smartwatch features a 1.55-inch touchscreen display and it comes in five colour variants — green, white, black, rose gold mesh and black mesh.
The smartwatch comes equipped with a heart rate sensor and it can also keep track of the body temperature and sleep cycle. The wearable offers 24 watch faces and comes with IP68 rating which makes it water-resistant.
Timex Helix Smartwatch 2.0 also offers 10 different sports modes which include Treadmill, Basketball, Yoga, Football, Badminton, Skipping and others. The smartwatch promises to offer up to 15 days of battery backup on a single charge and it can charge completely within 3 hours.
Timex Helix Smartwatch 2.0 to compete with Boat Xtend smartwatch
This new smartwatch from Timex will face tough competition from the recently launched smartwatch from Boat. The popular audio and wearable brand Boat recently launched its first Alexa in-built smartwatch in India.
Called Boat Xtend, the smartphone is priced at Rs 2,999 and it is also available on Amazon India website. The smartwatch allows users to set reminders, alarms, check cricket scores and weather by using voice commands.
The smartwatch comes with a heart rate sensor, SPO2 and stress monitor. The stress monitor reads HRV (Heart Rate Variabilities) to indicate stress levels.
