Tokyo Olympics Day 8: Google Doodle Champion Island Games offer marathon game – Times of India

It’s Day 8 of Google’s Doodle Champion Island Games. The tech giant is running a special Google Doodle game to celebrate the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020. Today’s special game offered by Google is a marathon game. “Outsprint these spry tree spirits, and don’t let the crazy crustaceans slow you down”, says the Google Doodle page about today’s game rules.
Google Doodle Champion Island Games are essentially role-playing games where participants play as Lucky, the ninja cat. Her mission is to “explores Doodle Champion Island: a world filled with seven sport mini-games, legendary opponents, dozens of daring side quests, and a few new (and old ;)) friends.”
The game offers a fantastic world to explore. Participants will have to compete for one of four teams across seven different mini-games. The goal, Google says, is to “defeat each sport Champion to collect all seven sacred scrolls—and complete extra hidden challenges across Champion Island in the process.”
Google has created the Doodle Champion Island Games in partnership with Tokyo-based animation studio, STUDIO 4°C. The interactive doodle offers multiple games like table tennis, rugby, running, swimming, and climbing. There are many side games as well other than these mini-games.
Those interested can start by clicking on the doodle available on the Google homepage. The game will start with you in the avatar of Lucky, the cat. Here, you will be asked to choose a team. You will have four teams to choose from — Red, Blue, Yellow, or Green.
