Google Toolbar is the latest service that the search giant has pulled the plug on this year. A support page says that the product is no longer available for installation. “Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer has been discontinued. To get the best of the web, try Google Chrome,” says the message on the page. In all, Google killed 23 apps and services during the year 2021. Of these, the youngest app to be killed is two-year-old Google Shopping Mobile app launched in the year 2019.
