Top Gun Maverick free stream – Two simple ways to watch box office hit

Paramount+ is one of the newest streaming services around, only launching in the UK back in June. In the space of a few months, it’s already built up an impressive library of exclusive boxsets and movies such as the new Scream film, the Halo TV show as well as cult horror show Yellowjackets. And if you’re yet to try out the service – which offers seven-day free trials – Paramount has just announced a great reason to join as one of the biggest films of the year – Top Gun Maverick – will soon be joining the library.

The box office smash – which is the highest-grossing film at the cinemas this year – will be available to stream on Paramount+ on Thursday, December 22 in the UK and Ireland – just in time for Christmas.

The Top Gun Maverick Paramount+ release date was announced this week and could be the news Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ fans have been waiting for before trying out the service.

Top Gun Maverick is available to watch on-demand right now via services like Apple TV and Prime Video but you have to pay extra.

On Prime Video Top Gun Maverick is available to rent for £4.49 or to buy for £13.99.

With the cost of living crisis meaning people are being more careful than ever before with their money, at that price you may prefer to wait till Top Gun Maverick is included with Paramount+ – and access all the other great movies and boxsets that are available with the service – seeing as there’s just a £1.50 difference.

One month’s Paramount+ will cost you £6.99, while you can also subscribe for a year for £69.90.

However, if you’re a Sky TV customer that subscribes to Sky Cinema you can access Paramount+ at no extra charge.

This amazing perk is available to Sky Glass, Sky Q and Sky Stream users that subscribe to Sky’s movie channels.

If you’re eligible you can simply activate your free Paramount+ membership by heading to the Paramount+ app on your Sky TV device.

On Sky Q the Paramount+ app can be found in the Apps section, while on Sky Q and Sky Glass you have to head to My Sky and then Sky Shop.

Once you’ve opened the app for the first time you have to confirm you want to subscribe to Paramount+, and then you’ll be taken to a screen where you can use a QR code to link your Sky iD to a Paramount+ account.
