Total War Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires has a release date

Immortal Empires–Total War: Warhammer 3’s combined campaign– has got a release date. The campaign will launch in beta on August 23, the date being revealed at the end of a video by Richard Aldridge and Mitchell Heastie from Creative Assembly’s Total War Warhammer team.
Immortal Empires is going to be a huge campaign as all the factions that have appeared in the three ‘Total War Warhammer’ games so far will be present in it. According to the information shown in the video teaser, we got to know details including the tech trees of the Empire and Vampire Counts have been tweaked a bit, plus all the other factions of the older games have gotten a “lick of paint”. The idea has been to present each faction as per the modern standards of Warhammer 3, even if most of them have not got a “full rework”. Here is the full video where the Total War Warhammer team members answer some questions about the game.

Total War: WARHAMMER III Immortal Empires Q&A with Richard Aldridge and Mitchell Heastie

In Immortal Empires, the gamers will be able to access all 86 Legendary Lords from all three Total War: Warhammer titles. There will be dedicated factions for a number of the older Legendary Lords, like Grombrindal, Helman Ghorst and Volkmar the Grim. Also, Be’Lakor will be a Legendary Lord with his own faction. The DLC will come with new starting locations for 29 of the older Legendary Lords.
Coming to other features, the game has a new ‘Sea Lanes’ feature with the help of which you can move armies between distant lands and continents—from one side of the map to the other—”without leapfrogging them all the way across the map”, as per the developers.
There will be new dynamic end-game scenarios which are “randomised mid- to late-game challenges” put in the game “to challenge the late-game steamroll—where the player is so powerful that there’s little-to-no challenge left and less of a reason to complete the campaign.”
