Twitter Blue finally comes to Android, here’s how much it costs – Times of India

A month after it was made available on iOS and web, Twitter Blue has finally arrived on Android. Unsurprisingly it has been priced the same as the iOS version. Before launching it on iOS, Twitter CEO Elon Musk had made a hue and cry over Apple charging 30% commission from developers — something that Google also does.
How much will Twitter Blue cost for Android users?
New subscriptions to Twitter Blue are currently available on Android only in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the UK, with plans to expand. In the US, it costs $11.
What features do Twitter Blue subscribers get?
Twitter Blue includes a number of features like Bookmark Folders, which lets Twitter Blue subscribers group and organise Bookmarked Tweets into folders for faster discovery later. Twitter Blue allows users an unlimited number of bookmarks and Bookmark folders which are always private.
Also, Twitter Blue lets users choose different coloured themes. Users also get Custom App icons, which they can change.
There’s a feature called Top Articles which is a shortcut to the most-shared articles in a user’s network. “This feature automatically lists the most-shared articles from people you follow—and people they follow, too—so you can easily find the type of content you want to read,” explained Twitter on its support page for Twitter Blue.
Users also get the much-wanted Undo Tweet feature. This gives users the option to retract a tweet after they send it, but before it’s visible to others on Twitter. “It’s not an edit* button, but a chance to preview and revise your Tweet before it’s posted for the world to see,” noted Twitter.
Twitter Blue subscribers can upload videos up to ~60 minutes long up to 2GB file size (1080p) (web only).
Last but not the least, Twitter Blue gives users the much-coveted blue checkmark or the status of a Verified Account.
