Twitter has rolled out a new feature which allows users to see view counts on their tweets as Elon Musk promised a few weeks back. With the help of the new update, the user will be able to see how popular their tweet is. Although, the feature is not available for everyone yet as some people can see their Twitter showing view count and some don’t.
Twitter is currently testing the new view count feature with a small group of users. That could be the reason some of the users can experience views on their tweets and some cannot. However, there is no official announcement by Twitter in reference to this feature.

Elon Musk on December 1st tweeted “Twitter will start showing view count for all tweets, just as view count is shown for all videos. The system is far more alive than it would seem”. After a week he announced that “Tweets will show view count in a few weeks, just like videos do. Twitter is much more alive than people think.”
The option to check this data was previously available by checking the account analytics. Currently, there is no updated information on this feature but users have been able to turn on analytics for their accounts which shows the impressions of other users on their tweets. But, view count makes it much easier as it directly shows the views on tweets and you don’t have to turn on anything from the settings.
Yet we can’t say that users might be able to see views on other users’ tweets but there are chances that you will be able to see view counts on other tweets because Elon Musk quoted in his tweet “just like videos’. So, Twitter shows view counts on videos and it might show view counts on tweets as well.
