Vi is offering double date benefit on these prepaid plans: Here are all the details – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea popularly known as Vi has introduced double data benefit along with Zee5 subscription on one of its existing prepaid plans. The telecom operator has introduced the double data offer on three prepaid plans of Rs 449, Rs 699 and Rs 299. Along with the double data benefit, all three plans offer the facility of weekend data rollover.
Vi Rs 449 plan now offer 4GB data per day
Earlier users used to get 2GB data per day as part of the Rs 449 plan. However, with double data benefit users now get 4GB data per day. The plan comes with a validity of 56 days and also offers unlimited local and STD calling facility. Subscribers are also allowed to send 100 free SMS daily as part of the plan.
Vi Rs 699 now offer 4GB data per day
Vi subscribers used to get 2GB data per day in the Rs 699 plan. With double data benefit the users now get 4G data per day. The plan is valid for the period of 84 days and it also offers 100 free SMS daily. Subscribers can also make unlimited local and national calls.
Vi Rs 299 plan now offer 4GB data per day
The Rs 299 plan used to offer 2GB data per day. But with double data, the plan now offers 4GB data per day. The plan comes with the validity of 28 days and it also offers unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day as part of the plan.
As mentioned above all the three plans also offer a free Zee5 subscription.
Recently, Vi issued an advisory for its subscribers cautioning them against online and KYC frauds. The fraudsters disguise them as company representatives and threaten unsuspecting users with a SIM block if KYC is not done. They may also seek some confidential information from customers in the name of verification.
The service provider advised the subscribers to not provide any KYC details or share OTP over a phone call.
