Vi new prepaid plans 2021: Best Vodafone Idea recharge plans with talktime, validity, and 4G data benefits

The revised Vi recharge plans are now applicable in India. While the benefits remain pretty much the same, the tariffs are up to 25 percent more expensive than they were before. The price hike applies to almost every plan across the portfolio, including the popular Rs 149, Rs 219, Rs 399, Rs 379, and Rs 1,499 recharge plans. The 4GB daily data recharge plans, which the company announced earlier this year, have been discontinued altogether. They have been replaced by a whole new suite of data packs catered according to the user’s requirements. Here is a breakdown of all Vi recharge plans and their benefits at a glance.

Vi new prepaid recharge plans with 28 days validity

There are as many as six Vi prepaid plans that come with 28 days validity. They are available with as little as 2GB data to up to 3GB data per day. The talk time remains the same across all plans. The free outgoing SMS for the entry-level Vi recharge plan is limited to 300, whereas for all others, it’s 100 a day.

Rs 179 Vi recharge plan

This is the most affordable Vi recharge plan with 28 days validity. While you do miss out on daily data and SMS benefits, the pack offers unlimited voice calls to all networks across the country. You will be able to enjoy high-speed internet with this pack but only until 2GB of data. The quota of free outgoing text messages is limited to 300. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 269 Vi recharge plan

It’s a slightly upgraded plan of Rs 179 Vi recharge plan. The Rs 269 tariff comprises 1GB of data per day, along with a quota of 100 SMS a day, unlimited voice calls, and a complimentary subscription to Vi movies & TV app. The telco’s Binge all night and weekend data rollover are also not available with this plan.

Rs 299 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 299 Vi recharge plan is bundled with 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, a complimentary subscription to Vi movies & TV app, and 28 days validity. In addition to this, you get Binge All Night and weekend data rollover that allows users to browse the internet from 12 midnight to 6 AM without pack deduction and utilise all their leftover data from Monday to Friday on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The recharge plan also offers up to 2GB of backup data every month, at no extra cost, with Data delights.

Rs 359 Vi recharge plan

If you are looking for similar benefits as the Rs 299 plan but with more data, then the Rs 359 Vi recharge plan should fit you the best. The pack comes with a total of 56GB of data, which is capped at 2GB per day. Post the daily data limit, you will still be able to use the data; however, with reduced speed.

Rs 409 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 409 tariff benefits include 2.5GB data per day, along with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS a day, Vi movies & TV subscription, Binge all night, Data Delight, and weekend data rollover. The validity of this plan is 28 days.

Rs 475 Vi recharge plan

Vi recharge plan with most data for 28 days, hence, the most expensive plan. The Rs 475 tariff offers 3GB of data per day, which sums up to 74GB for the entire validity period. All the other benefits such as free voice calls, SMS, Binge all night, and weekend data rollover are also included with this plan.

Vi new prepaid recharge plans with 56 days validity

There are just three Vi prepaid plans that come with 56 days validity. They are available with as little as 4GB data to up to 2 GB data per day. The talk-time remains the same across all plans. The free outgoing SMS for the entry-level Vi recharge plan is limited to 600, whereas for all others, it’s 100 a day.

Rs 329 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 329 plan offers unlimited calling, up to 600 SMS, and 4 GB of data. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 479 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 479 plan gives you unlimited calling, up to 100 SMS per day, and 1.5 GB of data per day. It is also bundled with Binge all night, weekend data rollover, data delight, and Vi movies & TV subscription.

Rs 539 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 539 plan comes with unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 2 GB of data per day. Much like the Rs 479 recharge plan, you also get free surfing between midnight to 6 AM, weekend data rollover, and up to 2GB of backup data every month with this plan. Not to forget, the subscription to Vi Movies & TV.

Vi new prepaid recharge plans with 84 days validity

Even in this tier, there are 3 Vi prepaid plans that come with 84 days validity. They are available with as little as 6 GB data to up to 2 GB data per day. The talk-time remains the same across all plans. The free outgoing SMS for the entry-level Vi recharge plan is limited to 1000, whereas for all others, it’s 100 a day.

Rs 459 Vi recharge plan

The plan is bundled Rs 459 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 1000 SMS, and 6 GB of data. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 719 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 719 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 1.5 GB of data per day.

Rs 839 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 839 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 2 GB of data per day.

Vi new prepaid recharge plans with 365 days validity

The 365-day tier has two plans, with data ranging from 24GB to 1.5GB per day for the whole year. The talk time is unlimited, but the SMS in the base plan is limited to 3600 for the whole year (9 per day).

Rs 1,799 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 1799 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 3600 SMS, and 24 GB of data. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 2,899 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 2899 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 1.5 GB of data per day.

Vi recharge plans with OTT subscription

There are five different plans with different validity and benefits as per your convenience. All of them include a Disney + Hotstar Mobile subscription of 1 year, which can be used on mobile devices and is restricted to 720p.

Rs 501 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 501 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 3 GB of data per day. It includes a Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile subscription for 1 year. You will also get an additional 16GB of data in case your data pack is over. It is valid for 28 days.

Rs 601 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 601 plan gives you 75 GB of data. It includes a Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile subscription for 1 year. It is valid for 56 days. There are no calling or SMS benefits in this plan.

Rs 701 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 701 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 3 GB of data per day. It includes a Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile subscription for 1 year. You will also get an additional 32 GB of data in case your data pack is over. It is valid for 56 days.

Rs 901 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 901 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 3 GB of data per day. It includes a Disney Plus Hotstar Mobile subscription for 1 year. You will also get an additional 48 GB of data in case your data pack is over.  It is valid for 84 days.

Rs 3,099 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 3,099 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 3 GB of data per day. It includes a Disney+Hotstar Mobile subscription for 1 year. It is valid for 365 days.

Vi validity extension recharge plans

There are three base plans, and these are the bare minimum to keep your SIM active and make phone calls.

Rs 49 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 49 plan gives you Rs 38 of talktime, and 100 MB of data. It is valid for 10 days. There will be no outgoing SMS service.

Rs 79 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 79 plan gives you Rs 64 of talktime, and 200 MB of data. It is valid for 21 days. There will be no outgoing SMS service.

Rs 99 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 99 plan gives you Rs 99 of talktime, and 200 MB of data. It is valid for 28 days. There will be no outgoing SMS service.

Vi also released quite a bunch of new prepaid plans, which slide under the existing plans as affordable alternatives if you can’t pay for the full-fledged plan. Here are the details:

Rs 1,449 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 1,449 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 1.5 GB of data per day. It is valid for 180 days.

Rs 327 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 327 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 25 GB of data. It is valid for 30 days. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 537 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 537 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and 50 GB of data. 60 It is valid for 60 days. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 399 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 399 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and  1.5 GB of data per day. It is valid for 42 days.

Rs 219 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 219 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and  1 GB of data per day. It is valid for 21 days. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 599 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 599 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and  1.5 GB of data per day. It is valid for 70 days.

Rs 149 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 149 plan gives you unlimited calling and 1 GB of data. It is valid for 21 days. There are no outgoing SMS in this plan. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 249 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 249 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and  1.5 GB of data per day. It is valid for 21 days. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 199 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 199 plan gives you unlimited calling, upto 100 SMS per day, and  1 GB of data per day. It is valid for 18 days. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.

Rs 129 Vi recharge plan

The Rs 129 plan gives you unlimited calling, and  200 MB of data per day. It is valid for 18 days. There are no outgoing SMS in this plan. Benefits such as Binge all night and weekend data rollover are not included in this plan.
