Vivo launches Y21e smartphone with Snapdragon 680 and 5000mAh battery at Rs 12,990

Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has expanded its Y-Series today and announced the launch of the Vivo Y21e smartphone in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 12,990 and comes in two colour options: Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow. It will be available on Vivo India E-store and across all partner retail stores starting today, January 14, 2022.

Vivo Y21e features a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo Full View Display with in-cell technology. There is an Eye Protection Mode to filter out the harmful blue light for a more comfortable viewing experience. The smartphone also comes with a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. Additionally, customers can also use Face Wake to unlock the smartphone.

The Vivo Y21e is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 mobile platform and comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There is the extended RAM feature too which utilises 0.5GB of idle ROM space.

The smartphone carries a dual read camera setup comprising a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP super macro camera. At the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter. The phone comes with camera modes like the Personalized Portrait Mode, Super HDR, Face Beauty mode etc.

The Vivo Y21e is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W Fast Charge technology. It runs Funtouch OS 12.The smartphone comes with support for reverse charging also.
