The Vivo S10 and the Vivo S10 Pro smartphones have been launched in China today. As the name suggests, the Vivo S10 series comes as a successor to the Vivo S9 lineup that was launched earlier this year. The Vivo S10 series is an upper mid-range offering from the brand and it is placed below the company’s flagship smartphone lineup, the Vivo X60. A few highlights of the Vivo S10 and the Vivo S10 Pro include slim design and focus on imaging. Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro prices
The Vivo S10 price is CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 32,300) for the 8GB+128GB model and CNY 2,999 (around Rs 35,000) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. On the other hand, the Vivo S10 Pro price is CNY 3,399 (about Rs 39,000) for the sole 12GB+256GB configuration.
The Vivo S10 and the Vivo S10 Pro will be up for pre-orders in China from July 15th and will go on sale in the country later starting July 23rd. The company has not announced the availability of the two phones for markets outside China. Considering that the brand did not launch the Vivo S9 lineup in India, we don’t expect the company to launch the Vivo S10 series in the Indian market either.
Vivo S10 Pro specifications
The Vivo S10 Pro features a 6.44-inch display with Super AMOLED technology and FHD+ resolution. Unlike most other smartphones nowadays, which feature a punch-hole on the screen for the front camera, the Vivo S10 Pro has a fairly wide notch on its screen. And that is because the Vivo S10 Pro has two front cameras: a 44MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Speaking of imaging, the phone has a triple-camera setup at the rear: a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.
The Vivo S10 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC and it ships with the Android 11 operating system featuring FunTouch OS 11.1. The phone as I said earlier, is available in 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 8GB RAM +128GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations. The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery and supports 44W charging. Connectivity options include support for two SIM cards, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Vivo S10 specifications
The Vivo S10 differs from the Vivo S10 Pro only on one aspect, and that is the primary camera at the rear. While the Vivo S10 Pro comes with a 108MP primary camera at the rear, the Vivo S10 features a 64MP primary sensor. The rest of the specifications of the Vivo S10 are similar to that of the Vivo S10 Pro including display, processor, RAM and storage configurations, battery, and connectivity options.
