Vivo S12, S12 Pro launched with 108MP primary sensor, 44W fast charging support – Times of India

Vivo has launched its S12 and S12 Pro smartphones in China. Both the smartphones feature a more or less similar set of features and specifications which includes a 108MP primary sensor, dual selfie camera and MediaTek Dimensity SoCs.
In addition to that, both smartphones offer 44W fast charging support and come in three colour options.
However, both have their own set of differences, for instance, the Vivo S12 Pro is powered by Dimensity 1200SoC, while the regular S12 comes with Dimensity 1100SoC.
Vivo S12 Pro and Vivo S12: Price and availability
Vivo has launched the 8GB variant of Vivo S12 Pro at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs 40,200), the 12GB RAM variant costs CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 43,700). The smartphone will be available in three colour options — Black, Blue and Gold.
The Vivo S12, on the other hand starts at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 33,100) for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, the 12GB RAM variant of the phone costs CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 35,000).
The smartphones will go on sale starting December 30.
Vivo S12 Pro: Specifications
Vivo S12 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone features a 6.56-inch full HD+ AMOLED 90Hz display and 240Hz sampling rate.
108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens that offers 2x optical and 20x digital zoom. There is an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 lens.
The Vivo S12 Pro features 108MP primary sensor with an f1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the smartphone features a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor.
The smartphone is backed by 4300mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
Vivo S12: Specifications
The Vivo S12 features a slightly smaller 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED 90Hz display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Vivo S12 comes with a similar rear camera setup at the back, however, at the front, it gets a 44MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor.
The smartphone is backed by a 4200mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
