Vivo is preparing to introduce a new member, the T2, in its T series. The Vivo T2 is already listed on the company’s regional website, and it is scheduled to launch on May 23. From its looks, the Vivo T2 seems to be a rebranded iQoo Neo 6 SE, launched earlier this month.
If rumours are to be believed, the Vivo T2 might feature a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is said to come with a Snapdragon 870 chipset under the hood paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone would run Android 12 based OriginOS Ocean in China.
In the optics department, the T2 is rumoured to come with a triple rear camera setup. The camera setup on the back might comprise a 64MP GW1P primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP black and white portrait sensor. It could come with a 16MP camera housed inside the centred punch-hole cutout on the front.
The Vivo T2 is said to be a rebrand of iQoo’s Neo 6 SE, meaning the both could share similar specifications and might also be priced similarly. We don’t know if the Vivo T2 will be coming to India or not. But there is a chance that Vivo might launch the T2 in India, considering both the Vivo T1 and iQOO Z6 series co-exist in India despite being an exact copy of each other. Meanwhile, iQOO is expected to soon launch the Neo 6 in India, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the Neo 6 SE.
