After some delays, Vivo is set to announce the T2 series in China on June 6. So far, we have learned about the vanilla Vivo T2. However, now rumours suggest that the T2 might be joined by another smartphone – the Vivo T2X. Notable tipster, Digital Chat Station, suggests that the Vivo T2X would be an affordable offering in the T2 series.
The tipster suggests that the upcoming Vivo T2X would be priced under CNY 1,000 (Rs 11,500) in China. Despite its affordable price tag, the smartphone would come as a performance and battery life-oriented smartphone.
Vivo T2X is rumoured to feature a 6.58-inch LCD panel with Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone might be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. Furthermore, the T2X is expected to come with a 6000mAH battery supporting 44W fast charging. The Vivo T2X is said to weigh 202 grams.
Coming to the optics of the Vivo T2X, the smartphone might come with a dual-camera setup on the back. The rear camera setup would comprise a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary unit. It is rumoured to have a 16MP sensor for selfies on the front.
Meanwhile, the Vivo T2 is also launching on June 6. The T2 is expected to come with a 120Hz OLED panel, Snapdragon 870 chipset and a 64MP triple camera setup. And the T2 would also come with 80W fast charging support.
There is no confirmation on when the Vivo T2 series will be launching in India. But we expect Vivo to bring the T2 series to India soon.
