Vivo V23e 5G confirmed for November 23 launch, no word on India release | Digit

Vivo has confirmed that it will be launching the V23e 5G on November 23. While the company has not announced any details about its launch in India, it has confirmed the phone will be launching in Thailand as the company has already started to tease the device extensively in the country.

The teasers also serve as a peek into the phone’s design and key specifications. The launch of the 5G variant will come after the launch of the 4G model – Vivo V23e – in Vietnam. The teaser reveals that the design of the Vivo V23e 5G will be similar to that of the 4G model. However, as per previous reports, the specifications of the device will differ.

Vivo V23e leaked specifications

As per leaked information, the Vivo V23e 5G will have a waterdrop notch for the 44-megapixel selfie camera and bring a plastic frame with a glass back panel. The V23e 5G will get a triple camera array on the back with a primary camera followed by an ultra-wide and a macro sensor. As per leaks, triple cameras on the back consist of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

There is no word on the chip that powers the V23e but it is expected to be a Dimensity SoC. The phone will run on Android 11 based FunTouch OS 12 and also has an in-display fingerprint reader. There is expected to be a 4,030mAh battery on board which supports 44W fast charging out-of-the-box.

As for the pricing, there is no information available yet. However, we have some idea of the pricing of the device as the V23e 4G is already available for purchase. The 4G Vivo V23e has launched in Vietnam for VND 8,490,000 (approx Rs. 28,000).
