Vivo V25 and V25 Pro smartphones have yet to be officially confirmed, but their key features are already announced. Here’s everything about the new smartphone.
Vivo is all set to launch a new V series smartphone in India. The tech brand will release a new smartphone named the Vivo V25 Pro. Virat Kohli was seen sporting the Vivo phone. It is claimed by a MySmartPrice that the new phone will include MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a color-changing back panel. The report says, the smartphone comes with a 64-megapixel triple back camera array with optical image stabilization on the primary sensor.
The cost is speculated to be under Rs 40,000 in India
According to India Today piece, the new Vivo V25 Pro would have a triple rear camera setup. It would reportedly come with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) technology for steady footage, and also a dedicated Super night mode.
The secondary camera will likely offer Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS).
The selfie camera could include a 32-megapixel Eye AF sensor.
The brand seems to have increased the charging speed on offer compared to the previous Vivo V23 Pro series. The new phone could sport 66W fast charging, and this, if true, will prove to be a major feature.
The upcoming Vivo V25 Pro will also introduce the new colour-changing technology with Fluorite AG Glass back. When exposed to sunlight or UV radiation, the rear panel of the V25 Pro will change colour as a result.
The Vivo V25 Pro will also have a curved FHD+ 3D AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The handset will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 CPU under the hood. The Dimensity 1300 is, interestingly, the same processor that powers the OnePlus Nord 25 5G.
The Vivo V25 Pro is said to be available in two variants: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. According to the source, the smartphone’s base variant will cost less than Rs 40,000 in India. The smartphone is expected to arrive later this month alongside two other phones in the series, the Vivo V25 and the Vivo V25e.
