Vivo V25 Pro to reportedly launch in India soon – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Earlier this month Vivo launched its flagship smartphones — Vivo X80 and X80 Pro in India. Now it seems that the company is all set to launch a new mid-range V-series smartphone in the country. According to an online report, Vivo may soon launch the Vivo V25 Pro 5G in the country. The report also suggests that Vivo V25 Pro will be the rebranded version of the Vivo S15 Pro which the company launched in China recently.
As reported by GizChina, Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo V25 Pro in India. Successor to the Vivo V23 Pro 5G, the smartphone is said to be rebranded version of the Vivo S15 Pro. The smartphone is rumoured to come in three variants — 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. The report also suggests that the smartphone is tipped to be priced under Rs 45,000.
The report also adds that the yet-to-launch Vivo V25 Pro will have the same specifications as Vivo S15 Pro.
Vivo S15 Pro specifications
The Vivo S15 Pro features a 6.56-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also supports HDR10+ and 1000Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
Vivo S15 Pro runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of customisation.
In terms of camera, Vivo S15 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup which comprises a 50MP primary, a 13MP ultra-wide and a 2MP B and W sensor. The handset also comes with a 32MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with fast charging support.
