vivo: Vivo announces price cut for this budget smartphone – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced a price cut for one of its budget smartphones. The Vivo Y15s — which was launched at Rs 10,990 — in February 2022 will now be available at Rs 10,490. Vivo announced the price cut of Rs 500 in a press release. The smartphone will be available for purchase at its new price on Vivo India E-store and across all partner retail stores. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Mystic Blue and Wave Green colour options. The smartphone is one of the most recent phones that was launched by Vivo.

Vivo Y15s specifications

Vivo Y15s comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone comes with an Eye Protection mode, which promises to filter out harmful blue light and offer a comfortable viewing experience.
The budget smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card.
Vivo Y15s runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of FunTouch OS. For imaging duties, the Vivo smartphone features a dual rear camera with 13MP AI rear sensor with an f/2.2 lens. It is paired with a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 super macro lens. On the front, the phone has an 8MP camera with f/2.0 lens.
The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Vivo Y15s also features reverse charging that will turn the smartphone into a power bank.
