vivo x fold: Vivo X Fold’s latest leak reveals key specifications of the smartphone
Vivo is prepping up to launch its first foldable smartphone on April 11 in China. Likely to be named Vivo X Fold, the smartphone has already leaked a couple of times giving us an insight into what to expect from the first foldable from the company.
However, ahead of the official launch, the marketing facade of the smartphone designed for offline retail stores and advertising has surfaced online. The leaked stand reveals a lot of specifications of the smartphone.
Vivo X Fold leaked specifications
According to the leaked details, the Vivo X Fold is expected to feature an 8-inch 2K resolution internal display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is speculated to have the LPTO 3.0 technology and supports adaptive refresh rate technology. On the outside, the foldable is supposed to feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is speculated to be powered by Snapdragon’s latest flagship chip — Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Currently, there’s no information available on the exact RAM and storage capacity of the smartphone.
Software-wise, the smartphone is likely to run the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box and is backed by a 4600mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
The Vivo X Fold is likely to get a quad rear camera setup blacked with Zeiss optics, similar to what we have seen with Vivo X series phones. The smartphone is likely to feature a 50MP + 48MP + 12MP + Periscope lens at the back.
As mentioned, the smartphone will debut in the Chinese market on April 11. However, the company hasn’t revealed any information about the global launch of the smartphone.
