Vivo X Note Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 5000mAh battery, IP68 waterproof body launched – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Vivo launched multiple products in China during a virtual launch event on April 11. The company unveiled its first foldable smartphone and Android tablet at the event. Along with this, the company also launched its latest mid-range smartphone — Vivo X Note at the same event.
Vivo X Note sports a large 7-inch display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The smartphone also houses the company’s self-developed V1 image chip. This new chip promises to improve the image quality and will also enhance night video shooting capabilities. It comes equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a Zeiss camera at the back.
Vivo X Note comes in Mountain Blue, Earth Grey and Midnight Black colours options and its price starts at 599 yuan (Rs 71,450). The smartphone will go on sale in China starting April 15. Vivo has not yet revealed any details about the global launch and availability of the smartphone.
Vivo X Note specifications
Vivo X Note features a 7-inch AMOLED display with 1440×3080 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
As mentioned above, the high-end Vivo smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 256GB/512GB. Vivo X Note runs Android 12 operating system and it comes with an IP68 rating which makes it water-resistant.
The imaging duties are handled by a quad-rear camera setup. The rear camera comprises of 50MP main camera with a Samsung GN1 sensor, f/1.57 aperture, a 48MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 12MP portrait camera with f/1.98 aperture, 8MP periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture. Front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
Vivo X Note comes equipped with stereo speakers and it is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging support.
