Vivo X90 Pro global variant specifications tipped: Here’s what to expect | Digit

Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo X90 series globally on February 3. The Vivo X90 series was launched late last year in China, including three smartphones – the Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and the Vivo X90 Pro Plus 5G. Globally, however, Vivo is said to be launching only two smartphones in the X90 series – the Vivo X90 and the Vivo X90 Pro 5G. Ahead of the global launch, a tipster has now posted details about the Vivo X90 Pro’s global variant online.

According to a tipster named Paras Guglani, the Vivo X90 Pro’s global variant will feature a high-end camera along with other flagship-level hardware. The Vivo X90 Pro is expected to come with a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary shooter, accompanied by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX758 portrait lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter. As expected, the camera has been tuned in collaboration with Zeiss, same as Vivo’s previous three flagships.

Apart from the triple rear camera, the Vivo X90 Pro will also come with a 6.78-inch curved display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo X90 Pro is also expected to launch in a single Legend Black colour option, and the smartphone is speculated to be 9.34mm thick. 

The Vivo X90 Pro is also said to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, rumoured to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It will also come with IP68 rating for dust and water protection. Vivo is also expected to use its new liquid cooling system to keep the thermals in check. Furthermore, the Vivo X90 Pro may also come with a 4,870mAh battery paired with 120W fast charging.

Vivo launched the Vivo X90 series in China back in November 2022, where the company launched three variants of the smartphone – the Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and the Vivo X90 Pro Plus. The Vivo X90 series was launched in China at a price of CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs 44,700) onwards for the Vivo X90 base model, and goes up to CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs 84,600) for the top-spec variant of the Vivo X90 Pro Plus 5G.
