Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro India launch shortly after China unveiling: specifications

What the Vivo X90 series may offer

According to a report on the matter by Pricebaba, the Vivo X90 series is likely to see the standard X90 and the mid-variant X90 Pro being launched first in India. The reason behind this is that in the leaked certification documents, for India, Vivo appears to have received clearance for the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro. However, there is no mention of an India or global variant of the X90 Pro Plus yet, for which Vivo is apparently still in process of finalising its user interface.

This, however, does not necessarily mean that the X90 Pro Plus may be delayed in India, but it does leave room for the same. If this happens, then we would likely have to wait longer before we may get our hands on the most coveted device in this lineup.

In a recent report, the Vivo X90 Pro Plus was tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, along with 12GB LPDDR5 memory and up to 512GB storage. It could also get a 6.78-inch 2K resolution display with at least 120Hz refresh rate. The main attraction would be the camera, which may get a 1-inch, 50MP sensor on its main camera. Also in the offering is an Omnivision sensor with either 48MP or 64MP resolution for the telephoto camera, and a 50MP portrait camera completing the offering. All of this may be powered by a 4,700mAh battery, with up to 120W fast charging.

Further details are likely to be unveiled going forward, given that both the new chips are set to be launched this month itself.
