Vivo Y33s with 50MP rear camera launched in India: Price, specs and more

NEW DELHI: Vivo Y33s is now official in India. Vivo has expanded its mid-range smartphone lineup with the launch of Vivo Y33s in India. The smartphone comes with an ultra-slim design and Vivo’s virtual RAM expansion feature. Vivo Y33s comes with extended RAM 2.0 that promises to make use of up to 4GB idle ROM space and offer lag-free performance.
Vivo Y33s: Price and availability
Vivo Y33s comes with a price tag of Rs 17,990 and customers can purchase the smartphone in Mirror Black and Midday Dream colour options. The smartphone will be available online and offline at all the leading stores starting August 23.
At this price point, this new Vivo smartphone will compete against the Realme 8 Pro. The Realme smartphone is priced at Rs 17,999 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. The smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery and runs Android 11 operating system.
Vivo Y33s: Specifications
Vivo Y33s features a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2408 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone also offers 4GB of virtual RAM.
Vivo Y33s packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of FunTouch OS.
Vivo Y33s sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The dual SIM smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
