Vivo Y35 5G launched in China: Price, specs and other details

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has reportedly expanded its 5G smartphone portfolio with the launch of a new handset in its domestic market. The company unveiled the 4G variant of the Vivo Y35 in some markets (including India) earlier this year. Vivo Y35’s 4G version is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, while the new 5G variant of the device features a MediaTek chipset. Here’s all Vivo’s new 5G phone brings:
Vivo Y35 5G: Price and availability
According to a report by GizmoChina, Vivo is offering its latest 5G smartphone in three different RAM variants in China. The report claims that the base variant of the Vivo Y35 5G with 4GB RAM will cost 1,199 Yuan (nearly Rs 14,000).
Meanwhile, the other two variants with 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM will be available at 1,399 yuan (nearly Rs 16,500) and 1,499 Yuan (nearly Rs 17,700), respectively. All three options will offer 128GB internal storage Vivo will offer the Y35 5G device in three different colour variants — black, blue, and gold colour options, the report adds. The company has not shared any details about the phone’s release in global markets.

Vivo Y35 5G: Key specs
As per the report, the Vivo Y35 5G will sport a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with a teardrop notch. The display will offer HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels), a 60Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset backed with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Users can also opt for additional storage as the device will also pack a microSD card slot.
For photos, the Y35 5G houses a dual rear camera module that includes a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera and an LED flash. The phone will also feature a 5MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
Vivo Y35 packs a 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 18W charging and runs on OriginOS Ocean UI based on Android 13 OS. For connectivity and security, the device will be equipped with dual SIM support and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
