NEW DELHI: Vivo launched its latest mid-range smartphone — Vivo Y53s in India. The smartphone comes with a FHD+ display and runs Android 11 operating system. The smartphone comes with an Aura Screen Light feature which allows users to enjoy studio-style illumination in unfavourable light conditions. This new mode of the smartphone identifies the brightness, contrast, colour temperature and then produces balanced light.
Vivo Y53s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by installing a microSD card.
The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone houses a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfie lovers.
The mid-range 4G smartphone from Vivo is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Priced at Rs 19,490, the Vivo Y53s will face in-house competition from another Y series smartphone — Vivo Y51a. Vivo Y51a is priced at Rs 16,990 and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. The smartphone runs Android 11 and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
