Vivo Y75 5G gets BIS certification, may launch soon in India
NEW DELHI: Vivo is all set to expand its smartphone lineup with the launch of a new mid-range handset. The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to soon launch the Vivo Y75 5G smartphone in the country. The smartphone was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website.
Vivo Y75 5G recently received BIS certification, this means that the manufacturer is planning to launch the mid-range smartphone in India. As per the listing, the upcoming Vivo smartphone comes with model number V2142.
A smartphone with the same model number was spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. The yet-to-launch Vivo smartphone managed to score 515 to 544 points in single core test and 1,541 to 1,675 points in multi-core tests. The Geekbench listing further reveals that the Vivo Y75 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to run Android 12 operating system. Apart from this, no other information about the smartphone is available right now.
Meanwhile, Vivo is all set to launch its all new V-series smartphone in India. The company has confirmed the launch of Vivo V23 in India. The company will launch the Vivo V23 in the country on January 5.
As per the previous leaks, the Vivo V23 series is most likely to be powered by MediaTek 1200SoC paired with 8GB RAM. In terms of camera, the teaser video already confirms the 64MP primary sensor, which also coincides with the previous leaks.
