Vodafone-Idea announces Republic Day offer on Vi app: Free data, eligible plans and more – Times of India

Telecom service provider Vodafone-Idea is celebrating India’s 74th Republic Day with a special offer. This offer will be available to the company’s pre-paid customers who use the Vi App to recharge their plans. Vi is offering additional data for “no extra cost” for its customers with certain plans. Here are all the details about the data offers that Vi is offering:
Vi Republic Day offer: Extra data and eligible plans
Vodafone-Idea users will get 2GB and 5GB of additional data at no extra cost with recharges done on the Vi app. The company is offering 5GB of additional data on recharges of Rs 299 and above. Moreover, Vi users can avail of 2GB of additional data on recharges starting at Rs 199 up to Rs 299 on the app.
Vi Republic Day offer: Validity
The company has confirmed that the additional data will be valid only for 28 days. Vi has also revealed that this offer will be available to its customers who recharge only on the Vi App until February 7.
In other news, Vi has recently launched 75 ‘Vi Shops’ across towns and cities in the states of Bihar and Jharkhand. These shops have a new format and are a part of the company’s effort to ramp up its retail footprint in the sub-district level.

Vi introduces new “digi-shops” for Tier-3 cities
The concept of Vodafone-Idea shops for Tier-3 cities is designed to offer a uniform Vi experience to local customers. These shops will also help users with quick support and handholding. The design of the new stores is in line with the “signature elements” which are also available at the existing Vi Stores in urban locations.
These shops will offer the entire lineup of Vi’s prepaid products and services and will even help users who are less tech-savvy to avail of the company’s services across the table. These “digi-shops” are expected to improve customer experience and facilitate closer engagement.
