It’s that time of year again! Every year in May, Google holds its annual developer conference known as I/O (which stands for “input/output”). Although the event is primarily geared towards developers and other nerdy folks, the keynote event that kicks it all off usually involves lots of exciting consumer-focused announcements.

During the keynote, we expect Google to launch some new hardware. This could include the rumored Google Pixel 6a. It could also include the long-rumored Pixel Watch, although that is less likely than the Pixel 6a.
Meanwhile, there will also undoubtedly be announcements related to Wear OS, Google’s wearable operating system. Regular Android should get some love, too.
