Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo Reno 7 series smartphones in India later this week. The company has scheduled an event for February 4, where it is likely to launch the new Oppo Reno series 7. The phones were first launched in China a few months ago.

How many phones are there in the Oppo Reno 7 series

The Oppo Reno 7 series comprises three phones: Oppo Reno 7, Oppo Reno 7 Pro

and Oppo Reno 7 SE smartphones. The Oppo Reno 7 series is the successor to the Oppo Reno 6 series that was launched in India last year. The company has not yet confirmed whether all three smartphones in the series will make their way into the country. Most likely it will be Oppo Reno 7 and Oppo Reno 7 Pro.

As the company launched two smartphones from the Oppo Reno 6 series in the country, it is expected that we may see two models of the Oppo Reno 7 series making their way to the Indian market. Till now, Oppo has only shared a few details about the top of the line Oppo Reno 7 Pro phone.

What processor will Oppo Reno 7 Pro run on

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro will be powered by customised MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX chipset. As per the company, the chipset will result in enhanced display, better imaging capabilities and clearer videos when compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 in the Reno 6 Pro.

Are there any other confirmed features of Oppo Reno 7 Pro

The phone supports 65W fast charging that is claimed to charge up to 100% in 31 minutes. The Reno 7 Pro comes with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM. The RAM can also be expanded by using the internal storage. It runs on Color OS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

When it comes to camera, The handset features Sony’s new 32MP IMX709 selfie sensor with its 50MP IMX766 flagship camera sensor at the rear.
