Highlights from what’s new on Netflix
Ozark Season 4 Part 1 (January 21)
One of Netflix’s best original series returns for its fourth and final season in 2022. At the end of season 3, Marty and Wendy Byrde (Jason Bateman and Laura Linney) have moved to Mexico and will likely be working much more closely to the Navarro crime cartel in the new season. Will they be able to survive? The first seven episodes are dropping on January 21, with the remaining seven episodes of season 4 dropping later in 2022.
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window Season 1 (January 28)
Kristen Bell stars in this parody series. You have seen movies like The Girl on the Train and The Woman in the Window — when an ordinary woman believes she sees a horrible crime but no one will believe her. Bell’s character is exactly like that, except this time she’s supposed to be intentionally funny.
All Of Us Are Dead Season 1 (January 28)
Here’s another South Korean-based series that hopes it’s the next Squid Game. It takes place in a high school where the students have to survive a massive outbreak of zombies.
Home Team (January 28)
Kevin James plays New Orleans Saints football coach Sean Payton in this comedy movie. It’s based loosely (we suspect very loosely) on Payton’s year-long suspension by the NFL, and how he decided to take that year to help coach his son’s football team.
