The feature is said to be made available to a selected batch of beta testers, and if you are one of them, you will see the “Silenced by Do Not Disturb” label below missed calls if the person’s phone was on Do Not Disturb mode. However, note that the label will only show up for you — the person who called will not get to know if you missed the call because your phone was put in Do Not Disturb mode.
WABetaInfo notes that the feature will be rolled out to more users in the coming days. However, there is no word on when or if the “Do Not Disturb” flag will be made available to all.
The feature is unique in itself, and none of the other instant messaging apps currently have this. But, you may ask how this could be useful? Well, it might not add any value, but you will get to know if you missed an important call because of the Do Not Disturb mode.
