The feature has been under testing for a while now and has finally evolved into the final stages and will be rolled out soon. This comes after many years of anticipation and two years since the first trustworthy rumour had crept up. Mark has confirmed that true multi-device support is in the works and that a native WhatsApp iPad app will be released soon.

In a tweet, WABetaInfo has shared screenshots of an iPad being used as a secondary device to the same WhatsApp account. They also share that this feature will be eventually extended onto Android tablets as well.
