Whatsapp may soon allow users to listen their voice messages before sending it – Times of India

WhatsApp has added some new updates to the voice messages feature on the app. WhatsApp will now allow users to listen to their voice messages before sending them. The new features are currently available for Android and iOS beta testers. Earlier, WhatsApp had rolled out the possibility to increase the speed of voice messages.
Many users demanded that the voice message be previewed before sending it. WhatsApp has finally fulfilled the longing of the users. You can now hear voice messages before you send them. You can also choose to delete it or send it.
The playback speed of voice messages can also be increased on Whatsapp. As soon as you receive a voice message, you will be able to listen to it at a higher speed.
Steps to hear WhatsApp voice messages before sending them
Step 1: Open your WhatsApp
Step 2: Open the chat box of the person you want to send a voice message
Step 3: Hold the mic and record the voice message
Step 4: Click the Play button while holding the mic button.
Step 5: You will be able to delete or send by listening to the full recorded message.
WhatsApp is also working on message reactions, that will let you react to messages. You can place an emoji on a message to express what you feel about it. The message reactions feature is already available on Instagram, Twitter, iMessage.
