Step 3: Hold the mic and record the voice message
Step 4: Click the Play button while holding the mic button.

WhatsApp is also working on message reactions, that will let you react to messages. You can place an emoji on a message to express what you feel about it. The message reactions feature is already available on Instagram, Twitter, iMessage.
