WhatsApp starts rolling out ‘split view’ feature on Android beta for tablets – Times of India
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the website that tracks changes in WhatsApp, the platform will allow Android tablet users to use the split view feature on the tablet version of the app.
Usually, the conversation (chat) tab takes up the entire screen when a user opens WhatsApp when the users open a chat on the tablet version of the app, the report added. In order to open any other WhatsApp conversation, the user has to go back to the chat list and then chat.
The new feature will allow WhatsApp users to view other chats while the existing conversation is going on.

WhatsApp has started rolling out the Split View feature and users can install the update through the Android beta program. The update carries the firmware version 2.23.5.9 which gives tablet users the ability to use tablets running the Android operating system.
