WhatsApp users will now be able to share up to 100 media within chat: Report

WhatsApp has reportedly started rolling out a new feature which will allow users to share up to 100 media within chats on Android beta.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the new feature will let WhatsApp users share up to 100 media through the media picker within the app. The media picker feature was earlier limited to 30 which will now be 100 once the feature is rolled out to all users.

The feature is currently being rolled out via Google Play Beta Program for the Android beta testers. The update carries version 2.23.4.3 which allows WhatsApp users to select 100 media at a time within the chat. There is no word whether it will be available for iOS beta testers or not.
WhatsApp users will now be able to share the entire album with contacts which will make it easier to share memories and moments with their friends and family, the report added.
Moreover, the feature will make sure that users do not share the same photo or video twice while sending big media files in one go.

WhatsApp working on longer group subjects and descriptions
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also working on an update to its Android beta version that will allow users to set longer group subjects and descriptions. This new feature will enable users to communicate more information about the group, such as its purpose, rules, topics of discussion and more. This update is part of WhatsApp’s efforts to improve user experience and make it easier for people to connect with each other on the platform.
WhatsApp users who have installed the latest beta update from the Google Play Store can practice longer group subjects and descriptions. The update is expected to be rolled out in a phased manner and will gradually reach more users in the coming few weeks.
