Where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 — latest restock updates
Tracking down where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 is a thankless task currently, with U.S and U.K retailers pretty much constantly out of stock. But this horrid situation might change thanks to the reveal of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, which could distract attention from the mighty RTX 3090.
While a lot of retailers might be utterly out of stock, we’ve still rounded up the retailers that have the $1,499 graphics card on their books. Just don’t expect any new GeForce RTX 3090 to arrive in high volumes in the foreseeable future.
Across the GeForce RTX 30-series, it looks like the stock situation isn’t going to improve imminently. There’s some good news in that GameStop will be looking to stock the GeForce RTX 30-series range, giving you a new retailer to check out.
However, Nvidia’s most powerful consumer GeForce RTX graphics card is sold out across the world, meaning it’s very difficult to spot a retailer with stock of the powerful GPU. Some GeForce RTX 3090 restocks did pop up in the U.K. recently, and that could be a sign that more stock could come to the U.S. But we’d not put money on that happening.
If you’ve given up hope for an RTX 3090 and can make do with a less powerful GPU, it’s worth keeping in mind that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is expected to arrive soon, potentially giving you an alternative powerful RTX card. Or why not try and see if you can find where to buy an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, it’s the rival GPU after all. AMD might not be a bad bed as the Radeon RX 6900 XT has smashed Nvidia’s GPU speed record.
Nevertheless, here’s a list of retailers selling the monstrously powerful graphics card; most are currently out of stock. Check back regularly to see if RTX 3090 supplies have been replenished.

There’s a good chance that you’ll probably struggle to get a GeForce RTX 3090 anytime soon. But if you’re really keen on getting the powerful GPU and have other PC parts that need a refresh, then you could simply opt for a new gaming machine altogether.
Alienware, Cyberpower, Falcon Northwest, iBUYPOWER, Maingear, Origin have desktops on offer with the GeForce RTX 3090 as a graphics card option, including versions of our picks for the best gaming PC. Just bear in mind that these are seriously expensive PCs costing several thousands of dollars. You will, however, end up with a PC that will basically chew through pretty much any game you can throw with ease as the very highest of settings.
If all this seems a bit much, then bear in mind AMD Big Navi is on it’s way on October 28. It’s looking set to offer serious power, potentially at prices that undercut Nvidia’s new graphics cards. So if you’ve not managed to secure a new Nvidia GeForce 3000-series GPU, then there’s more to come from the graphics world this fall.
