Windows 11 latest beta update now rolling out, here’s what’s new – Times of India

Microsoft is expected to roll out Windows 11 Sun Valley 2 update publicly later this year. Ahead of that, the company has started rolling out a new update for Windows 11 operating system. The update is now available to download for testers in the beta channel and brings several improvements and bug fixes to the operating system.
The Windows 11 KB5017846, according to Windows Central’s report, fixes known issues with the previous beta release of the operating system. The update does not include any new features as such. However, the main focus remains on addressing the issues that were reported by beta testers.
According to the report, the Windows 11 KB5017846 update is distributed in two parts — Build 22621 and Build 22622.
Windows 11 beta update: What’s has changed
As mentioned, the update is all about minor changes and bug fixes. One new feature that the update includes is the new flyouts that follow the accent colour of the system. But, it is supposed to be enabled from Settings → Personalisation → Colours → Show accent colour on Start and taskbar.
For those unaware, the 2H22 update is expected to bring back the drag-and-drop feature along with an updated overflow flyout.
Apart from that, the flyout order issue with several languages has been fixed with this update. The company, accordion to the report, has also fixed the Control Panel crashing issue when users try to run it from the start menu.
Additionally, the update also fixes issues with explorer.exe, pinned folders and more.
