XGIMI has launched a new portable smart 4k projector named Elfin after the company introduced its first 4K laser television named Aura in China. XGIMI has widened its portfolio with a projector full of features that weighs less than a kilogram and is equipped with a key feature that helps in eye protection.
The company also said that its new projector will offer a safer viewing experience by minimising waste and checking the blue light exposure. It packs a big battery that claims to offer a longer battery life. XGIMI India Representative Sushil Motwani said that the company plans to offer a better home entertainment experience with its new smart projector with the festive season knocking at the door. It helps in projecting your favourite content with great details and comes with XGIMI’s patented plug-and-play feature.

XGIMI claims that the projector consumes less energy for using an efficient LED light source that makes it a eco-friendly projector and also claims that it can be used for 10 years as the lamp’s LED claims to last upto 30,000 hours. The projector delivers a FHD resolution with a throw ratio that is optimal for most rooms on a 200-inch screen. Along with that, the cinematic surround sound is provided by dual in-built Harman Kardon speakers.
The projector comes with Android TV 10.0 and Google Play Store. It also has 5,000 apps such as Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and built-in Chromecast. You can use your Android or iOS device to cast your favourite video, apps or games directly through the smart projector. The projector also has a Game Mode Boost that enables low latency and higher refresh rates.
It also sports the ISA (Intelligent Screen Adaptation) technology and uses Auto Keystone Correction to reduce image correction. On top of that, it produces low image blur by combining 60Hz motion rate, low latency and automatic alignment.
