Xiaomi 12 global variant with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 8GB RAM spotted on Geekbench
Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 12 series in China last month. The series consists of two smartphones – Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. The smartphones are the first Xiaomi devices that are powered by the newly launched flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. At the time of launch, the company did not reveal any official plans about the global availability of the smartphones but now it looks like we will see the smartphones in international markets soon. According to a report by NotebookCheck, the global version of the Xiaomi 12 has appeared on Geekbench as the Xiaomi 2201123G. The model that has been spotted on the benchmarking platform is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 12.
