Xiaomi 12 Lite India launch soon, Mi 11 Lite likely to discontinued

While Xiaomi hasn’t mentioned the timeline for the Xiaomi 12 Lite but we can speculate it might debut in the next few weeks and should be priced aggressively. Furthermore, tipster Paras Guglani says the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G will continue to be available even after the Xiaomi 12 announcement.

Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G Specifications

The Xiaomi 12 Lite sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.

Moving to the cameras, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G has triple cameras on the back, with a 108MP primary Samsung HM2 sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite features an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance, a 4,300mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, Dolby Atmos, and usual speakers. Connectivity options on the Xiaomi 12 Lite include dual 4G VoLTE, dual 5G standby, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone weighs just 173 grams and measures  159.30 x 73.70 x 7.29 mm.
