Xiaomi 12 has a large 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, centre-positioned punch-hole cutout, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1500nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and HDR10+. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with Adreno GPU. The phone packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The handset runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box. A 4,600mAh battery can be found under the hood that supports a whopping 120W fast charging, 50W wireless second charge, and 10W wireless charging.
Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, USB Type-C audio, Hi-Res audio, dual speakers with Harman Kardon tuning, and Dolby Atmos.
As for the cameras, the Xiaomi 12 Pro has triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP Sony IMX707 primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, OIS, LED flash, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle camera with 115-degree FoV, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. There is a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro price in China is RMB 4,699 (approx Rs 55,200) for 8GB + 128GB, RMB 4,999 (around Rs 58,700) for 8GB + 256GB and RMB 5,399 (Rs 63,400) for 12GB + 256GB versions. We can expect the phone to be priced slightly cheaper in India considering Xiaomi’s previous flagships and how India is a price sensitive market, especially for Xiaomi.
